Xan Rogers has been swimming competitively since she was 9 years old. Starting in Northern California and swimming for California Capital Aquatics, she was first selected to swim at a regional level as part of the All-Star Team for Far Westerns at age 11.

After moving to Southern California and joining up with Rose Bowl Aquatics in Pasadena, Xan qualified for Junior Nationals, swimming in Texas and in Alaska at these National meets and then qualifying for the US Open in Alabama.

While swimming unattached (with Canyons Swim Team for US Swimming and with Santa Clarita Masters for US Masters Swimming) she was named a Masters All-American in the 200yd Backstroke.

Xan was named the Masters National Champion in 2005 for the 50 Backstroke, having taken the Gold at the Masters Nationals Swim Meet. She took the Silver in the 200 Backstroke, also at Master’s Nationals.

Xan swam for Pierce College and broke the College’s 50yd Back and 100yd Backstroke records and swam on the 200yd Medley Relay and 400yd Medley Relay that also broke college records.

While swimming for San Diego State University for two seasons (2007-2009) she placed on the school’s records of top 10 fastest swims in both the 100yd and 200yd Backstroke events. Also improving her lifetime fastest records in both events.

The beginning of 2012, Los Angeles Pierce College inducted her into their Athletic Hall of Fame, where she still hold the backstroke records for the school.
